Training provided

TDDA provide an extensive 50-day training package for all new franchisees. The training package is delivered both by internal staff and several external experts and starts with a 3 week induction program in New Zealand. The course covers a variety of technical and business skills required for the role. This is then expanded to operational training in a busy franchise office that covers all aspects of drug testing.

Following this head office provides one-on-one training with the franchisee in their home territory.



TDDA is looking for highly motivated & independent people to join the team to share in the success of this proven business model which enables you to operate with multiple testing vans & staff and to have an office with testing room facilities. You can start by yourself and quickly build a strong client base and team around you. There’s no need to have previous experience in the drug testing field. Your background may be from a wide range of industries including health, law enforcement, manufacturing, transport, education, training or retail.


Length of Agreement

5 years with a right of renewal for a further 5 years.

The franchise package for all of Tasmania is only $120,000 and includes:

  • $75,000 for your 5 year franchise fee (with a right of renewal for another 5 years)
  • $45,000 for your 50-day training & Business Development program costs; this also includes your initial stock, selected testing equipment; uniforms; full IT set up and legal costs.

We operate with professional looking & purpose built Vans for mobile onsite testing. You need 1 Van to commence. Lease finance is available so no upfront costs required.
